Description

Campil is produced by Bodegas Paniza, a modern, progressive cooperative in Cariñena that was founded in 1953. 300 grower-members farm a wealth of old vines planted in prime, high-altitude terroirs at more than 2,700 feet above sea level.

Tasting Notes: Offers aromas of citrus fruit, pineapple and wild flowers. Dry and extremely refreshing on the palate.

Serve With: Ideal as an aperitif or paired with salads or delicately-flavored seafood or white meat dishes.

Vineyards

6900+ acres of prime vineyard land at elevations averaging more than 2,700 feet above sea level! This includes a wealth (nearly 190 acres) of old, 50+ year-old Garnacha, Tempranillo and Macabeo vines, as well as newer plantings of international varietals. Soils are dominated by varying levels of brown-limestone, sandstone and clay. Vineyards are farmed by 300 grower-members.

90% Viura, 10% Chardonnay.

Cool fermentation (64ºF) in stainless steel tanks. Unoaked.
